Pillow

Custom sublimation pillows for decor and gift lines, printed at full coverage: a magenta wavy stripe, a scalloped tropical-leaf design, painterly brushstrokes, blue camo graffiti, a swirling halftone dot, a leopard-and-palm sunset and a layered forest silhouette make up the current seven. A sublimation pillow starts as a flat printed panel, so the graphic reaches the seam on every side.

Why choose sublimation over a heat-pressed transfer for printed pillows? A transfer is a film glued to the fabric; it stiffens the face and cracks where the pillow folds. Dye-sub leaves the knit as soft as it was blank, and it won’t stiffen after washing. Custom pillows wholesale orders need sample colour approval for each proposed fabric and batch.

Who orders here? A hotel or holiday-rental group ordering pillows in a house pattern, a home label running seven prints under its own tags, a brand adding a printed pillow to a gift set, a cafe or coworking space ordering pillows in its brand colors. From 5 pieces per design and color, under your own label; blanks are not sold on their own.

Matching square cushions use the same files, so a hotel or homeware brand can run one artwork across the set; plush blankets and towels are in sports towels, the wider range in home and living, and fabric options are listed in the fabric lab. Akilex was founded in 2008 and uses Japanese sublimation equipment, holds 95% color matching, and inspects each run to AQL 2.5.
